Register as a member of the Research Forum
The Rothschild Archive Trust has created and maintains The Rothschild Research Forum to provide scholarly information and resources to the public. Its purpose is to promote collaborative work among the individuals and organisations participating in the Forum.
To register as a member of the Research Forum, please read the Conditions of Use carefully and then complete the form below. Once your registration information has been received and reviewed your account will be activated and you will then be able to access the members-only areas of this site.
Conditions of membership
The Forum may be used by individuals and organisations for any legitimate, legal activity that furthers their aims and policies. Participation in the Forum requires the grant of a password which is held upon the conditions stated below.
Participants in the Forum undertake the following:
They will comply with the requirements of the law and specifically will not involve themselves (other than for properly supervised and legal research purposes) in any act or materials (whether written, numeric or visual) that is obscene, indecent, defamatory, or involves infringement of copyright or the use of commercial advertising.
In respect to the activities of the Forum they will be sensitive to the dynamics of the discussions and debates and will be respectful of the perspectives presented by others. A suitable balance must be maintained between offering constructive criticism of ideas and materials and showing restraint and courtesy towards participants of differing theoretical, cultural, and personal perspectives.
They will accept the decision of the Forum administrator as to the posting of material and the conduct and closure of discussions and debates. They will do nothing that denies service to other participants or that wastes the time and resources of the Forum administrator or other staff.
They will not interfere with the activities or tamper with the materials of other participants in the Forum.
They will comply with the terms and conditions laid down for all users of the Rothschild Archive web site.
Participants who fail to comply with the above undertakings will receive a preliminary warning as to their non-compliance. Continued failure to comply with the above undertakings will result in the revoking of the participant's password and exclusion from the Forum. The Rothschild Archive Trust reserves the sole, unfettered right to revoke passwords and so access to the Forum. It also reserves the right to alter and to extend, at any time and as it sees fit, the undertakings given by the participants in the Forum. Due notice will be given to participants of such alterations and extensions.
Applicants who are willing to participate in the Forum on these terms and conditions may register by completing and submitting their application using the form below. By so doing they express their acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
